Careers Education
At Ellis Guilford School, we are committed to helping every child develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions about their future.
Our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme supports children from Year 7 to Year 11, helping them explore the full range of opportunities available after school. Through careers education, employer engagement and personalised guidance, children gain a deeper understanding of the pathways available to them and are supported to make ambitious and informed choices.
We believe that careers education plays a vital role in preparing young people for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. Our programme is designed to help children identify their strengths, explore their interests, set goals and successfully navigate key transition points throughout their education and beyond.
We continually review and develop our careers provision to ensure it reflects current best practice and meets statutory guidance for careers education and guidance.
