Ellis Guilford Vaccination Programme 2023-2024
Dates
Scheduled vaccinations for Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio and Meningitis ACWY (Teenage 3-in-1 booster) will be happening soon.
The dates for these will be as follows, for both boys and girls:
- 6th February – Year 9 HPV(second vaccination following on from first in year 8) and Year 9 Teenage 3-in-1 booster vaccinations and ACWY
- 18th April – Year 8 HPV and mop ups for other years
- July 2024 – mop ups of missed vaccinations
Consents and links
If you have not already done so you will need to fill in vaccination consent forms either on paper or online as directed. Each child will need a separate consent for each vaccine they have. If you have previously consented to your child having these vaccinations the team will use this consent – this is because the consent originally provided is enduring. If you have already completed a consent form you do not need to submit another one
Your child self-consenting on the day
Due to the large numbers expected, we cannot ensure that we will be able to offer your child the opportunity on these occasions to self-consent – if you want to ensure that your child has the chance to receive the vaccination you should fill in the consent forms as soon as possible.
To Decline the Vaccination
The option to consent or decline the vaccination will be on the form so please still complete the forms if you do not want your child to have the vaccinations.
Withdrawing consent previously given
If you have previously consented and now with to withdraw this, you must email sais@nottshc.nhs.uk at least 24 hours before your school session detailed above.

There are no further scheduled vaccination teams coming into school to do Flu vaccines in this academic year.
