MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Behaviour in the Community
It is extremely important that our children behave as well as they do in school when they’re in our community.
We have spoken to the children about this, and will do so again this week, but this is an area that we really do need parent/carer support with.
Please speak to your child about their usual journey to and from school, and reiterate our expectations of them to behave well and to respect our community.
Year 9 Options Evening
A reminder to Year 9 parents and carers that it is our extremely important Options Evening this Wednesday 12 February from 5pm to 7pm.
There will be an address from myself about the process, followed by the opportunity to speak to subject teachers and children who are currently studying their option subjects.

February Half Term
School breaks up for February Half Term this Friday 14 February at 3pm. All children are expected in school until this time. Lessons will continue as normal.

Year 11 Half-Term Revision Sessions
Please support Year 11 children to attend the half-term revision sessions taking place in school. We now only have two more opportunities to maximise on half-term time to prepare our children for their upcoming examinations. CURRENT REWARDS
120 Guilford Gold for 100% Attendance this Week!
Next term will bring a new set of rewards, kicking off with lollipops on Fabulous Friday of Week 1 and ending with an Egg Hunt on 4 April where students with 100% attendance for the term will all receive an Easter Egg reward!
Year 11 Rewards
Year 11 have their own Attendance Rewards with 2 pairs of cinema tickets to be won every week, and entry to our Pre-Exam Draw to win an iPad. The more 100% weeks completed, the more chances to win!

Pre-Owned Uniform Shop
A reminder that we have our pre-owned uniform shop available to purchase current uniform for Years 8 to 11 at low cost.
Please do pop in to our pre-loved uniform shop during its opening times , or ask at Main Reception if these times are not suitable.
25 Guilford Gold will be rewarded for any donations being dropped off at Reception.
