Wednesday 12 February is our Year 9 Options Evening. We extend a warm invite to all Year 9 pupils and parents and carers to spend an evening exploring choices for study through year 10 and year 11.
Please arrive from 4.45pm for a prompt start at 5pm in the Main Hall. Click on the video to watch a short introduction from Ms Johnson.
There will be a briefing from the Principal to outline the options available and the process for selection. You will also receive an Options booklet with details of all of the courses available.
There will then be an opportunity to explore options (in the Guilford building) with subject teachers and children who are currently studying their option subjects, before submitting a ‘Top 6 Preference Sheet’. This will be used to ensure pupils have chosen subjects suitable for them and give them extended time to reflect on and secure their decisions before the Easter holidays.
Free chip cobs will be available for all parents to enjoy whilst spending an evening exploring options with us!
More information will be available shortly on our GCSE Options page, and will be published here in due course. Please read the invitation letter below.
